Fire Shaders (Toon and Real) for VRChat and Unity

This is two shaders in one package - a stylised, anime and toon fire shader and a realistic flame shader! There are a lot of features and prefabs for your convenience, as well as a permissive license and free distribution ❤️‍🔥

🔥What's in the package?

• Two fire shaders with two variants each (Real Fire, Toon Fire, Real Fire Stencil, and Toon Fire Stencil)
• Light-weight and optimised shaders and setups (one plane or particle!)
• Two prefabs with materials, ashes, and particle systems set up (one for toon and one for real)
• A permissive license and simple README with instructions, as well as texture maps to use
• Perfect for a number of uses in games, worlds, and avatars – anime fireball projectiles, candles, torches, furnaces, dungeons, campfires, explosions, and more!

🕯️What all can the shaders do?

• Customisable low-temperature and high-temperature colours
• Precise and easy distortion settings (you can see them in the preview)
• Control over brightness and alpha values, with max limits (for making it glow in bloom!)
• Uses texture maps instead of real-time noise for performance benefits
• Stencil variations allow the flames to be hidden around objects, such as a candle, to prevent over-rendering or clipping
• Toon Fire Shader: supports controlling the shape of the flame with a slider as well as the "toon" stylization strength
• Realistic Fire Shader: supports an optional "dissolve" map that adds to the distortion of the flame, as well as a mask for the shape of the flame

🏕️What is the license?

• You can redistribute it in transformative works both personally and commercially (with attribution).
• You may edit it as a long as you make note of the changes~
• You may not simply redistribute/resell just the package or code, or take credit for it.
